The Swann SWDVK-825508C Surveillance System includes a state-of-the-art 8 Channel DVR8-2550 digital video recorder for simultaneous viewing and recording of 8 video streams locally, over the Internet or on your 3G Smartphone. The Swann SWDVK-825508C Surveillance System provides has H.264 video compression for fast, efficient recording and playback. You can also adjust the frame rate and image resolution with CIF real-time recording on all 8 channels (30 fps per channel, 120 fps total) and the ability to adjust the recording settings for each camera to the resolution you choose from 352 x 240 pixels (CIF) up to 704 x 480 pixels (D1).

You can also configure the DVR to send you email alerts when activity is detected for peace of mind, all the time.

Easily set-up remote viewing with Swann's UPnP (Universal Plug n Play) technology that automatically configures the DVR to your router (if your router has UPnP capability) and the internet. Knowing what's happening is easier than ever with VGA connection for viewing on your PC or LCD monitor (with VGA input) or view on your existing TV using the video cable in the pack.

With the Swann DVR8-2550 & 8 ADS-180 Cameras Security Monitoring System, Smartphone viewing is remarkably easy to set up and use.

For iPhone or iPad users the app is free to download from the AppStore. For Android users it can be downloaded from the Android Market and BlackBerry users can access their AppWorld.

For your convenience the app is also included on a disk in the pack. Once Swannview is installed on your Smartphone, put the DVR's IP address into the browser and in less than a minute you can view video from all 4 cameras live onscreen. You can also receive email alerts if the DVR detects motion. Staying in contact has never been easier!
